Crippled Turtle Records is a fake record label.
And we are looking for more independent and unsigned musicians
to be on our label.
We are non-exclusive, meaning you can be on our label while on another label. Or remain independent. We are also non-profit; we handle no sales, and take no commission on your sales. There are no membership fees. It really and truly is free, and we do it out of the goodness of our hearts. Well, no, not really. We do it to get more exposure for our musicians.

There are a lot of people out there making good music that no one hears. We want it to be heard. This is what we offer you: a page on our site, with your bio/album description, picture, album list, lyrics, reviews, calendar, influences, personal website links,

shop site links, and contact info. You can provide as many or as few of those things as you choose. We also offer you access to all the free advice you can handle on how to make, market and sell your music. This information will be provided by all our musicians, who are willing to share their experiences in order to help you.

This is what we ask of you: as you make, market and sell your music, you will add your experiences and advice to our compendium of information. And you will have a link to our site on your sites. This way, if someone is trying to find information on one of our musicians, they will come to our site, and then they might want to hear more music from other of our musicians. So the more people we have involved, the more information, and the more exposure for everyone.

Eventually, it will be possible for people to listen to and buy music directly from Crippled Turtle’s site, much like cdbaby.com, amazon.com, and itunes.
